Ideal for clamping and cutting strong Parametrium and Uterine tissue during vaginal or abdominal hysterectomy procedures. The Z-Type Scissors and Forceps are manufactured to Miltex craftsmanship standards and made from the highest quality German stainless stell forgings. Both patterns are available in a range of blade and jaw curvatures to precisely form and bend to the shape of the uterus and fibrous parametrium connective tissue which envelopes and extneds laterally along the body of the uterus and between the broad ligaments. In order to prevent tissue slippage, bleeding or trauma, the Z-Type Forceps have a special jaw profile with longitudinal grooves and tip serrations which gently fold the Parametrium tissue in a non-crushing, yet firm grasp. The forceps are available in four lengths ranging from 8.25" to 14" for greater procedural use in deep pelvic, abdominal surgery, and obese patients. Handles are offset for ergonomic comfort and improved view of the surgical site. Four jaw options are available in straight, slightly curved, curved, and angled configurations for ideal access to the Parametrium connective tissue. The Z-Type Scissors have Tungsten Carbide inserts seamlessly bonded to the upper and lower blades to provide strong yet precise cutting and durability. They are available in three lengths from 9" to 12" and blade shapes of slightly curved, curved, and fully curved which precisely match and cut laterally to the jaws of the Z-Type Forceps.
