Medical Chemical Tincture Green Soap, Usp

Tincture Green Soap, USP is a combination of vegetable soap, lavender oil, glycerin and ethyl alcohol. The soap is biodegradable and mildly antiseptic. Because of the ethyl alcohol, it is a good skin degreaser. Its antiseptic properties make it useful for preoperative cleansing particularly if followed by providone iodine or a similar germicide.
