JT Garwood, CEO and Co-Founder of bttn, is a 2x marketplace founder, angel investor, and active advisor to startups throughout the US. JT, a graduate of the University of San Diego and Syracuse University's Martin J. Whitman School of Management (MBA), started his career at Microsoft. After leaving Microsoft, JT founded a blockchain marketplace focused on the healthcare space, which was sold in January 2021.

The potent fusion of JT's multi-faceted experience in combination with bttn's bold and singular mission to lower the cost of healthcare for all has enabled bttn to be successful from inception. As a respected voice across healthcare, procurement technology, and marketplaces- bttn $26.5M raised in funding in less than a year and a half, led by Tiger Global and Fuse, as well as serviced 15,000+ healthcare professionals.

Steve Nielsen

President

Steve Nielsen, bttn President, is a healthcare industry veteran – previously serving as CEO of McKesson Medical, LABSCO, and Activus Healthcare Solutions. In addition, he has held numerous board positions for healthcare companies over the years. Steve is an active investor in multiple healthcare and medical device companies across the world and is known as one of the most respected names in the Healthcare Distribution industry.

Rich Garwood

COO

Rich Garwood, bttn’s COO, has 33 years of executive experience in Wireless technology with T- Mobile and Verizon. Before joining bttn, Rich served as a Senior Vice President of T-Mobile, leading large national sales and distribution organizations, as well as strategic initiatives.

Jack Miller

Co-Founder & Head of Product

Jack Miller is the Co-Founder and Head of Product at bttn. After earning his Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of San Diego Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering, Jack worked for NetApp's engineering team. Now, at bttn, Jack oversees the strategic direction of bttn's technology platform and building the product customers want.

Angela Wren, Head of People at bttn, brings over 30 years of HR and executive experience in Technology and Wireless. Her career includes oversight of national, global, and remote multi-functional HR teams to drive business growth and maximize shareholder value.
