Sorbalgon Ag Calcium Alginate Dressing is a latex-free, sterile, silver-containing calcium alginate dressing composed of soft, alginate textile fibers. Made by Hartmann USA, Sorbalgon Ag releases silver ions in the presence of wound fluid and protects the dressing from microorganisms. As wound fluid is absorbed into the dressing, it forms a soft, non-adhering gel to help promote the healing process. Maintains a moist environment – optimal wound management. Will hold together regardless of wet or dry and provides easy removal. Sorbalgon Ag can remain in place for up to 7 days.
